Our Center

Kids Advancing Academy is a childcare center located in Lakewood, Ohio.We are open Monday- Friday

6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. We serve children 6 weeks- 11 years of age. In addition to our Infant and Toddler Programs, we offer a Preschool and Pre - K Program, Before and After Care, and a Summer Camp Program. We are pleased to serve as extended family members and believe that a child's time away from home should be a positive experience.

Our center's motto is "Where Learning and Fun Are One!" Children who are enrolled at our school have many opportunities to engage in fun activities such as, field trips, classroom parties, and family events!! In addition, children are given the opportunity to play on our playground or in our gym twice a day. Children also participate in activities that will enhance their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development. Here at Kids Advancing Academy we incorporate biblical principles into the curriculum in order to promote character building and for the development of your child's values.

The teachers assess the children several times a year using the Creative Curriculum Assessment and the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. This allows the teachers to work with the families in order to develop a plan to help each child meet their full potential. Security

For the added protection of our children, parents must enter a keycode in order to access the building. In order for a visitor to enter the building, they must call the director's office and wait for someone to let them in. If a visitor is picking up a child, they must be able to provide a valid I.D. and be an authorized pickup person on our emergency contact list. Kids Advancing Academy has several cameras located throughout the building which are monitored in the administration office.

Credentials

Kids Advancing Academy is licensed by Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Our center undergoes a yearly inspection by the fire department, health department, and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
